Using a montage of two video stills that may only be separated by a few seconds, this series of twelve prints focuses on brief separations or moments within seeing. The resulting series of images, using video footage from several industrial sites in Chicago, are often very abstract, textural, disorienting or difficult to recognize because of this layering. The images serve to negate each other underscoring the difficulty of memory as well as the effects of technology on seeing.
